  2. I presented “Integrating Multi-Source Geospatial Data to Advance Human Exposome Research: Challenges and Opportunities” at the 2026 Joint Statistical Meetings in Boston.

  3. Our study of the spatial and contextual exposome and subtypes of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, using double machine learning, was published in Exposome.

  4. Our study of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and cardiovascular disease within five years after delivery was published in Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.

  5. Our systematic scoping review and meta-analysis of neonatal outcomes among pregnancies affected by COVID-19 was published in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth.

  6. I gave an invited talk, “The Spatial and Contextual Exposome: Methodological Challenges and Paths Forward,” at the Department of Epidemiology at Indiana University Indianapolis.

  7. We received an NIEHS R24 award to develop SPACESCANS, a semantic data integration system for spatial and contextual exposome research.

  8. I am excited to deliver a talk on the challenges and opportunities in integrating and leveraging contextual-level social determinants of health at the AMIA 2024 Informatics Summit.

  9. Grateful to receive an RF1 award from NIA, as the contact PI, to support our research on post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection and subsequent disease progression in individuals with AD/ADRD.

I am excited to deliver a talk on the methodological challenges in spatial and contextual exposome studies at the monthly 'Chalk Talks' hosted by the Harvard Chan-NIEHS Center for Environmental Health. A companion review article on this topic was also published in Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology.

  14. Grateful to receive an administrative supplement from NIA and NIEHS to expand our parent award (R21ES032762) on the external exposome and COVID-19 severity to focus on individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

  15. Grateful to receive a K01 award from NHLBI to continue our research on the external exposome, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and women's cardiovascular health after delivery.

  27. Honored to be awarded the Sandra A. Daugherty Award for Excellence in Cardiovascular Disease or Hypertension Epidemiology and Prevention by AHA.
